Refund Policy

Clear and fair rules for refunds and cancellations for digital guidebooks.

Summary
Digital products are generally non-returnable once delivered. We provide refunds for technical delivery/access issues reported within 7 days, and we handle honest mistakes case-by-case.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • You did not receive the download link after payment and email confirmation.
  • The file is corrupted or cannot be opened on a standard PDF reader.
  • A technical error on our side prevents access.

If you accidentally request the wrong product, contact us quickly — we’ll try to resolve it before delivery.

Time window

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if you have an access problem.

How to request a refund

Email orders@virginiahiker.com with:

  • Your name
  • The product you ordered
  • The date of pickup
  • A short description of the issue (screenshots are helpful)

Refund method

Because payments are accepted in cash at pickup, approved refunds are provided in cash as well (typically at an arranged pickup time).

Cancellations

You can cancel an order request at any time before pickup. There is no charge until payment is completed.
